March fifth, six months early, on Ticketmaster. Two general admission for Pavement at the Tabernacle, Sunday September 26, eight o’clock. Eighty-eight forty for the pair. Max Withdrawal bought them because Sunday night was the reason he was in Atlanta for Panic weekend at all.
Friday the twenty-fourth the crew met at Leon’s in Decatur at 1:30. Drew set the table. Glass of bacon talk on the side. Morning of the show, Max drove down with Drew and the rest of the car — not a bus yet. Megabus was still a year away.
Live Nation mailed the thanks on the thirtieth. You went. You watched. The Tabernacle held.
The tickets waited half a year. The Sunday was the whole point of the drive.
