- Wed Oct 3: Andesmar Chevallier, Retiro to Mendoza, 8:50 p.m. Top deck. Max and Drew in the windshield seats.
- Thu Oct 4: Mendoza 9:55 a.m.
- Fri Oct 5: Mendoza.
- Sat Oct 6: 5:15 p.m. LAN933 / LAN642 / LAN2025. Mendoza to Cuzco. Santiago and Lima only to change planes.
- Sun Oct 7: Cuzco 6:00 a.m. Hotel Torre Dorada, through Oct 10, and again the night of Oct 12.
- Mon Oct 8 – Wed Oct 10: Cuzco. Torre Dorada.
- Thu Oct 11: Early train to Ollantaytambo. Inca Trail, day 1. Night in Aguas Calientes. Bags held at Torre Dorada.
- Fri Oct 12: Inca Trail, day 2. Huayna Picchu. Train back to Cuzco, and Torre Dorada.

A PayPal split paid to Drew covered the Mendoza–Cuzco flight, the Machu Picchu excursion with the Aguas Calientes night, and Cuzco–Lima. Mendoza never got a hotel name.
